Do you have experience monitoring and troubleshooting trades in electronic trading systems while under pressure? Do you have a strong reputation for providing pro-active trade support? Have you performed 1st & 2nd level support of electronic traders and their execution systems before? Do you have a strong passion for algorithmic trading and optimal execution? Are you naturally very attentive to technical details and a strong communicator?

Our ideal candidate will be thoroughly involved in all technical aspects of our trading system and client support interactions, including first-line client support, monitoring and assessing trades in real-time, consulting institutional clients on their execution, and analyzing clients’ algorithmic order flow.

This position is ideal for candidates with 1 – 3 years of experience in electronic trading support or algorithmic trading system support.

Primary Responsibilities:

• 1-3 years of experience working in a trading or IT environment

• Linux command line skills (trace logs, update configs, investigate host utilization, troubleshooting skills)

• Ability to handle pressure while troubleshooting real-time trading systems

• Ability to relay information between technical and non-technical individuals

• General market knowledge (VWAP/TWAP, order types, volatility)

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Skills and Experience:

• Experience working in a “follow-the-sun” support environment

• Knowledge of exchange-traded futures and fixed income markets

• Working knowledge of FIX and ability to perform FIX Certifications

• Knowledge of electronic trading systems

• Experience working with tick, trade, and order databases
