How you’ll make an impact:
The Analyst, Consumer Insights is a key member of the Sales Research team, a service organization supporting SXM Media’s world-class Sales team. This position will be responsible for managing and executing market research through our internal research panel of SXM Media listeners. They will also play a role in executing data-driven thought leadership research studies, in partnership with external vendors and stakeholders, with the goal of driving revenue from advertising sales. To be successful in this role, candidates need to possess strong intellectual curiosity, be skilled in problem definition, and capable of conducting rigorous analyses to develop actionable recommendations. They will have the opportunity to apply high-level strategic thinking and roll up their sleeves to make it happen. They are a master of cross-functional communication and developing solid internal relationships across the sales organization.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Ad Sales, B2B Marketing, and Sales Management to develop research plans and define and prioritize research projects
- Manage an internal research panel of SXM Media listeners, ensuring healthy response rates, managing content schedule, and the design, distribution and analysis of surveys
- Effectively communicate research findings and develop strategic recommendations and opportunities based on insights
- Partner with the B2B Marketing team to uncover data-rich insights to be translated into persuasive sales enablement materials and thought leadership
What you’ll need:
- 1-2+ years’ experience in research design (quantitative and qualitative), questionnaire development, data analysis and report writing in advertising, market research, or consumer tech industries
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Statistics or a related field
- Hands-on experience in writing surveys, programming, fielding online surveys and conducting focus group studies
- Strong data visualization and presentation skills to provide recommendations based on insights
- Excellent project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects across critical yet often fluctuating deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively
- Highly knowledgeable in advanced statistical techniques and market research analytical tools including SPSS, Qualtrics, Excel and other data manipulation tools.
- Comfortable with PowerPoint
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $63,000 to $70,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
