Animal Care Specialist Job at Camp Bow Wow Eden Prairie

This is a perfect entry-level opportunity for someone interested or currently in school for veterinary fields.
CAMP COUNSELOR: Part-time to Full-time 20-40 hours per week - Flexible hours
Must be available to work Weekends and Holidays - Including Spring Break, Memorial Weekend, July 4th week, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving, & Christmas
Shifts run Monday-Sunday from 6:30AM to 1:00PM, 9am-4pm or 12:45PM to 7:15PM. Flexible and short shifts are also available.
Daily Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Insure a safe and clean environment at all times for dogs and employees.
-Monitor information for proper feedings, medications and checkout dates.
-Insure proper care and attention to each camper. Learn the Camper's by name and make sure they have a good time at Camp!
Requirements:
Must Love Dogs!
100% Reliable transportation
High School Graduate or equivalent preferred
Able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
Able to hold/restrain dogs of all sizes
Able to be on your feet for up to 7 hours at a time
Clean and professional appearance
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Have and keep a good attitude and work well as part of a team
Able to work efficiently and accurately
Prior experience working with animals preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
