Sabre Systems is currently hiring for a part-time antenna fielding expert to support our HF antenna program. This position requires supporting antenna installation at numerous sites - predominately at Rome, NY.The position is responsible for set, maintenance inspections and possible repair of antenna systems. The selected candidate will assist in the development, design, modification and test of HF antenna systems and associated instrumentation.
Candidates must be familiar with and demonstrate a basic knowledge of general purpose and HF test equipment.- Perform VSWR checks
- Perform maintenance assessment and repair of minor issues.
- This position requires field work and candidates will often be required to work outdoors, on elevated platforms and be capable of stair climbing, with and without equipment.
- Special consideration will be given to candidates with a background in fielding antenna systems. Specifically expertise in the installation and operation of HF antennas.
- The ability to work a dynamic work schedule to support field testing.
- The candidate must have a minimum of 25 years of antenna installation experience.
- The selected candidate should also have specialized training in communications systems.
- Qualified training may include college, trade school, military school or correspondence courses with an accompanying certificate of completion.
Must be a US Citizen. - Travel will be required for the position
- Selected canddiate must pass a background investigation
- This is a Part-Time position
