Technical Application Support Specialist
Tampa, FL (Hybrid)
Job Summary
Our global retail client headquartered in the Tampa Bay Area is searching for Technical Application Support. The Support Specialist will provide tier 2 support to their internal/ external customers (escalations resolution, addressing tier 1 queries, and performing data analytics/validation/documentation). The Support Specialist will be tasked with working with applications of the client’s flagship IoT device. Duties
- Provide application support to the agreed SLA’s leveraging the support resources internally and with third-party vendors and suppliers.
- Troubleshooting issues and providing solutions where possible, engaging with development teams as required to help resolve technical issues.
- Work with Development teams to help deploy the latest releases
- Initiative-taking monitoring of the platform and creating proposals to ensure application performance is maintained.
- Work across the teams, peers, and vendors to help continue the development of a Continuous Improvement ethos making the support services we provide best in class with an initiative-taking approach.
- Ensure application support documentation is maintained and stored in a central repository.
- Provide subject matter expertise for the initiative-taking management of applications including performance, scalability, capacity, compliance, security, supportability (including patching), and maintainability.
- Validate/Troubleshoot issues and participate in bug triage meetings to help determine the priority of requested bug fixes/features.
Qualifications
Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue-resolution techniques
- A drive to dig into the details of a system or process to solve customer problems
- Experience working with home Wi-Fi routers, firewall configurations, parental controls, and commonly enabled features associated with service provider modems/routers and services
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
