Will begin an academic Mechatronics Technology AAS program at Henry Ford College while working and learning on site in our Southfield, MI site from some of the best in the business. During your time here we don’t want you to sweat the small stuff so BASF will cover the entire cost of your educational program, including books!

- Work hands-on in our OEM Coatings technical center learning to:
- Perform metrology, preventative maintenance and corrective repairs of equipment and instrumentation.
- Monitor spray request workflow and maintain key process indicators.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all equipment and operations.
- Coordinate efforts with site services and service contractors to stage and perform work requests as well as procured services.
- Coordinate among cross-functional teams and maintain area ownership.
- Perform correlation of lab application processes with customer plant processes.
- Maintain spray parameter database.
- Stage paint circulation studies.
- Participate in coating application projects.
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

- Are able to work in a lab environment and lift 50lbs
- Are willing to enroll in a certificate program to launch a career in Manufacturing
