Applications Director- Transportation and Warehouse Management Systems Job at McLane Company
This is a hybrid remote position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office on bi-monthly basis, or more frequently, such as in the event of a department-wide meeting, depending on business necessity. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 2 hour commute to Temple, Tx.
Duties of Position:
Manage all applications and systems associated with Transportation Management Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, and Applications associated with Warehouses like Material Handling Systems, Pay for Performance Systems, Inbound Truck Scheduling, Loading Tools, and Yard Maintenance systems.

- Built Offshore Teams
- Led Development and Implementation of Warehouse Management and Transportation Management systems
- Demonstrated excellent Project Management Skills.
- Experience with managing managers.
- Exposure to significant customizations around Package Software
- Strong Oracle/PL SQL Skills and other Development Platforms
- Managed multiple support teams
- 10+ Years in Application Development.
- Experience with the following:
- Grocery Distribution/Operations
- TMW, Custom WMS System and Manhattan
- Material Handling System
- Custom Development
Minimum Qualifications:
- Have a Bachelor's degree; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Have at least 10 years of broad-based experience in specific and related disciplines of the business, including progressive experience in formal leadership roles.
- Be able to travel to divisions to support in upgrades, new implementations, creation or opening of new divisions.
- Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
