SUMMARY
The AQL Team Member does visual and dimensional checks of product to specification. Communicates defects back to production and tracks repaired garments..
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
  • Meets all duties and responsibilities of Advance level inspection - Daily
  • Audits finished goods in warehouse and internal audits - As assigned
  • Select samples for AQL per customer specifics – Daily
  • Knowledge of specific customer requirements for all garments-As needed
  • Does visual and dimensional measurements of Automotive parts – As needed
  • Inspection of non-Peckham parts – As needed
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal customers - Daily
  • Maintain and promote a safe and clean work environment - Daily
  • Utilize a teamwork approach for all projects – Daily
  • Participation in Peckham’s safety programs and ergonomic activities is required.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Prior experience as a Quality Inspector, Advanced Level required.
Beginner computer skills with outlook and excel preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret end item, dimension sheets and basic work instructions. Must be able to write legibly.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and common fractions.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
