SALARY RANGE; $75,000 to $100,000 based upon experience.

THE COMPANY: Real Equity Management is a design-build and property management firm, with a portfolio of assets centered around both commercial and residential real estate. Our primary focus, however, is in market-rate and student, multi-family communities. To date, we oversee leasing and manage over 300,000 square feet of commercial and roughly 3,500 beds in Missouri alone, in addition to properties located in both Oklahoma and Kentucky.

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN MANAGER POSITION; We are currently seeking an Architectural Design Manager to oversee our Design Department. As our Design Manager, you will participate in and manage the workflow for design development, production and delivery of projects!

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversight of site, building and structure design (shape, form, layout, aesthetics, etc.)
  • Direct the design team on vision and intent and assist the team with material selection, building aesthetics, functionality, and operational characteristics with direction from the Development Team.
  • Develops strong presentations and early design studies. Prepares 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings for project team review.
  • Working as a member of the design team in a collaborative and hands-on environment to develop drawings and specifications for bidding and construction.
  • Preparation of documentation throughout all phases of assigned projects (Programming, Conceptual Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents).
  • Coordination of all disciplines (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, etc.).
  • Conducts product and code research and incorporation of codes into technical documents.
  • Assists in consultant and contractor project information coordination.
  • Ensure that information is communicated clearly, accurately and in a visual appealing manner and in alignment with the company's overall brand.

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in drafting, architecture or related field required.
  • 5+ years experience in the architecture design field.
  • Proficiency in Revit and Autocad required.
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, SketchUp, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook), Microsoft Project, and other industry software. (Preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication, collaborative, flexible, outgoing, and performs well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Well-versed in programming, conceptual design, and schematic design with strong technical skills in creating construction documents.
  • Experience with all phases of commercial architecture design projects from project setup through design and through construction administration.
  • Experience in working on multiple projects at any given time, coordinating multiple disciplines and engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, ADA, and other AHJ requirements.
  • Creative, Self-Driven, Collaborative, Motivated, and Natural Problem Solver.
  • Interpersonal skills with an ability to cultivate and maintain productive working relationships.
  • Experience in the commercial architecture industry primarily focused on Mixed-use Developments that included multi-family, office, retail, restaurant and hospitality.
