Area Catering Sales Manager Job at SLUTTY VEGAN ATL
Slutty Vegan ATL is the leading plant-based burger restaurant. Since 2018, Slutty Vegan ATL has rapidly
become a tech based, customer focused dining experience that is unlike any other. We are a fun, high energy,
counter-serve spot, and our burgers are piled high with sauce and plenty of toppings. Our purpose is to open
the conversation on vegan food options for people who have never considered them.
Catering Sales Manager:
A catering sales manager targets and coordinates catering sales efforts. The primary responsibility of a catering
sales manager is to develop existing business and solicit new catering business through catering lead
generation and catering sales marketing. The sales manager solicits new catering customers through traditional
and non-traditional sales techniques. Other important duties include booking, selling, planning and
coordinating all special social events while assuring the highest level of customer service. The catering sales
manager will also manage the relationship with all Slutty Vegan 3 rd party catering vendors.
Job Requirements:
- Responsible for the managing all local catering bookings in the Metro Atlanta market and organizing
in the SV Bookings Calendar
- Soliciting new catering business while maintaining existing relationships and accounts
- Working knowledge in all areas of catering and sales management, including but not limited to
Marketing, Event Operations, Food & Beverage and Festival planning.
- TripleSeat CRM system – preferred; not required.
- Complete all catering orders forms for stores (BEO’s)
- Negotiate and review contracts for catering orders.
- Communicate with promoters, venues and other organizations.
- Expertise in multi-unit catering sales
- Expertise with Sales Navigator - LinkedIn
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to proof own work
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to take initiative.
- Provide professional and timely responses to external organizations, agencies, departments, and
individuals
- Some travel required
- Ensure all aspects of an event are successfully executed from preliminary planning to final billing.
Work Environment
This environment is fast paced and moderately demanding. This position may have a moderate to extensive
stress level associated with dealing with crowds of public visitors. Work is typically performed indoors, in a
temperature-controlled office setting.
Education and Experience:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Minimum of three (3) years related experience coordinating and executing sales and marketing strategies in a
hospitality organization.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Compensation:
$45K - $50K/annual salary - plus quarterly commission
