Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for all store activities and achievement within each discipline
- Develops Store Managers and team through consistent store visits, management meetings, and touch bases while providing continuous feedback.
- Effectively utilizes reports to analyze business trends, identify challenges, opportunities and recognize successes in the development of your Store Manager team
- Accountable for developing market-level strategies to achieve each store financial, operational and customer service goals, while addressing each store’s unique opportunities and supporting the district vision and strategy
- Leads their team utilizing the core practices within our Mission Statement: Stay Curious and Bold, Be Transparent and Collaborative, Embrace and Drive Change, Act with Empathy and Integrity and Champion Diversity and Community
- Creates and sustains a talent engine and culture that attracts, retains, and develops high performance teams who consistently serve and deliver operational excellence and business results
- Recruits and hires top talent at all levels. Develops strategy to retain high performing Store Managers

Operations
- Utilization of their team to ensure the success of new store openings, remodels and renovations within their market
- Consistently monitors payroll and look for opportunities. Coaches Store Managers to ensure service and selling are not compromised and payroll is leveraged to maximize performance.
- Ensure consistent operational compliance/consistency and follow up through routine visits and touch bases.
- Utilizes appropriate reporting to drive sales
- Ensure merchandising/display/marketing standards are maintained, and stocking/replenishment standards are met.
- Ensure proper standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and organization in all stores.
- Review P&L and identify opportunities to reduce expenses and ensure goals are met.
Safety/Loss Prevention
- Manages accountability while impressing upon associates the importance of following all safety and security for self and others
- Takes immediate action to address unsafe conditions
- Protects Company Assets by following and ensuring stores follow loss prevention directives

Education/Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bachelors and/or Masters-Degree preferred
- Degree in business or closely related field, OR 4+ years of US military service may substitute for a portion of the required experience
Travel:
- Travel is required in this role
Qualifications:
- Effective communication skills
- Work independently and as part of a team
- 5+ years of retail experience managing 5 or more stores, departments or units, P & L, inventory, operations and customer service
- 5+ years of management experience leading a team of 8 or more, including training and coaching, with strong leadership and communication skills
- 5+ years of experience in a customer service-oriented environment or role
- Experience in a multi-unit environment, knowledge of retail operations and financial reporting
