Area Manager Job at Drybar
We're looking for a dynamic Area Manager to add to our growing team. This individual will be responsible for the overall operations of their territory of stores including sales, team development, and customer experience. The Area Manager will report to the Regional Director and will be responsible for the following:
- Traveling to the salons in their district to lead and mentor teams
- Partnering with the Recruiting team to fill open positions in a timely manner
- Ensuring the Salon Managers' and Stylists' proper mentoring
- Ensuring the new hires' appropriate training
- Exceeding the salons' sales and operational goals by schedule optimization, sales performance, and expense management
- Analyzing the financial reports of the salons and identifying proper steps for future development
- Supervising the Salon Managers and ensuring proper inventory management
- Upholding the highest level of customer satisfaction by maintaining impeccable salon environment and resolution of customer issues
- Enforcing the staff's adherence to corporate policies and state laws
- Managing the process of creating new salons in the district
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- At least 5+ years of multi-location operations management experience
- Beauty industry experience preferred, but not required
- Must have store management experience
- Team-oriented
- Prior experience mentoring and training team members required
- Excellent decision-making skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or any related field preferred, but not required
