About the XFL

Launching in February 2023, the XFL is a fan-first, fast-paced global professional football league featuring innovative rules and an enhanced 360-view game experience. Led by owners Dany Garcia, Dwayne Johnson, and Gerry Cardinale's RedBird Capital Partners, the XFL will bring entertainment to world-class football with the goal of advancing the game and expanding player opportunities.

About the Position

The XFL is reimagining football bringing fans closer to the game they love and becoming an essential part of their experience in the process. As a Game Day/Events Ops associate, you will be a part of a fan-facing team that brings energy to game day to promote the XFL brand.

What you will do

• Engage prospective and current XFL fans in a professional and positive manner through various promotions, events, and marketing efforts.
• Assist with all in-game promotions including live video board features, t-shirt tosses, crowd prompts, video shoots, and fan shots.
• Assist with all behind the scenes duties before, during, and after games/events including promotional giveaways, fan fests and half-time activities, etc.
• Set-up seating arrangements and audio-visual equipment for meetings, dinners, parties, and banquets.
• Assist with offsite special events related to fan engagement
• Utilizing league provided templates, oversee game scripts and public-address announcements for in-game use – working with sponsorship, marketing, and ticket sales departments to fulfill all contractual obligations.
• Respond to requests from management, front office employees, vendors, guests, and team representatives to move furniture, boxes, and equipment.
• Receive deliveries into the venue.
• Satisfy requests from vendors, guests, team representatives to relocate materials and equipment on game day.
• Store, retrieve, and re-arrange various items in storage areas for all departments.
• Other related duties as assigned.

What you will bring

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program majoring in sports management, marketing, or business management.
• Passion for the game of football and live entertainment.
• Ability to work all five (5) home games during the regular season.
• Experience working in sports/entertainment.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Additional Details

• The location of this role is Arlington, TX.
• Primarily works in a remote office and/or an office environment. Must attend all team home games and may be required to attend select games and events in other XFL team markets.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Minimal Travel (<10% travel): May be required to travel.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
