Armed Contract Security Officers Needed-City of Los Angeles Job at Close Range International, Inc.
Close Range International is seeking Armed Contract Security Officers for City Of Los Angeles facilities to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual's will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons.
LOCATIONS/POSITIONS AVAILABLE
- Elysian Park LAPD Police Academy-(Two P/T Weekend Day Shifts available)
- Barnsdall Art Park-(Graveyard Shift Available Now-11:00PM-7:00AM)
- Watts Towers-(Swing Shift/Graveyard Shift Combination Available Now-3:00PM-11"00PM & 11:00PM-7:00AM Tuesday thru Saturday)
- Davis Trng Ctr-Granada Hills- LAPD Police Academy-(Graveyard Shift Available Now-10:30PM-6:30AM)
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
18 years or older, US Citizen or Lawful Resident with the ability to work in the USA, Current B.S.I.S. Guard Card AND Current B.S.I.S. Exposed Firearm Permit (.38, 40 or 9MM ONLY-Must Own Your Own Weapon to use on duty and have Three (3) 10 round magazines and a Level 2 or Level 3 duty holster), Pepper Spray and BSIS Baton Permit Required as well as Current CPR,AED and First Aid Certification, 1 Year Experience as a B.S.I.S. licensed California Security Guard. No Felony Arrests/Convictions, Good References. Must be Vaccinated for City of LA Posts. Must be available to work on weekends and holidays.
Ability to adhere to City of Los Angeles Grooming Requirements are MANDATORY. This is contractually required by the City of Los Angeles and we have no flexibility.(Sorry- No Goatees/Beards, Tatoos showing, Piercings).
