Armed Protection Officer

Requirements

• 3+ years Law Enforcement Experience (Required) 10+ Law Enforcement Experience (Preferred).
• Washington Armed Security Certification (Preferred but must be able to obtain as condition of employment).
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Be able to stand and/or walk for up to 12 hours while on duty.
• Must be able to pass a background, pre-employment drug screen and have a good driving record.
• Must be available to work all shifts.
• Must have or obtain company equipment to perform all duties.
• Armed Security License (Required).
• Law Enforcement experience includes Sworn Police Officer, Reserve Police Officer, Military Police, Corrections, Parole and Probation officers.
• CHL or HR218 (Required) or must be able to obtain within 3 months of hire date.
• High school or equivalent (Required)
• Law Enforcement Officers & Agents: 3 years (Required), Law Enforcement Officers & Agents: 10 years (Preferred)

Job Duties

• Multiple locations may include: North and South Puget Sound, Bellingham, Marysville, Seattle, Tukwila, Tacoma, Bellevue, Prosser/ Tri City, Vancouver WA, and the greater Portland Metropolitan area including Salem and Eugene/Springfield OR
• Patrol an area for any safety or security risks.
• Carry a weapon for de-escalation and defensive purposes.
• Prevent unauthorized access to the area and the items within.
• Respond to reported incidents as necessary.
• Monitor a closed-circuit television for potential issues.

Schedule

• Full-time, Part-time - Pay Rate will depend on qualifications and job assignment.
• 10 hour shift, 12 hour shift, 8 hour shift, Day shift, Holidays, Night shift, On-call, Overtime, Weekend availability

Rate of Pay

• $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
