Overview:

One River School of Art and Design is seeking a Director. The Director at One River School is responsible for 4 key pillars of driving school success: new student acquisition, member service, community engagement and the coaching and development of the team. As a leader you will build, motivate and mentor a team of professionals. Running a school location, you will have a system to use, but plenty of opportunity to use your own skills and experience to make your school unique and special. You have a passion for art and education and connections with the local art and education communities.

Who you are:

• You may have some formal art training, or you may be someone with a passion and appreciation for art. You are also a business minded person who is goal oriented.
• You have 5+ years experience in a small team leadership /management role with proven skills in hiring, training and coaching.
• You have strong interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to network, collaborate and build relationships with clients, partners and staff. Knowledge of the school's market area and its art community is essential.
• You have a strong commitment to providing a high touch, high quality customer experience and you will inspire your team to achieve the highest standards of customer care.
• You are the kind of person who thrives in an environment that is fun, busy, varied and requires a wide skill set
• You have a strong working knowledge of CRM systems, scheduling and social media management software

Position Highlights:

Develop the School Community: Recruit, train and manage a small team. Drive Student enrollment and retention.

Actively Participate in Community Outreach: Network and market to local area

Manage and Develop the School's Community Space: Gallery exhibition curation, manage facility

Take Ownership of all Business Management Tasks: Set business goals and track revenue
