YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
• Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers.
• Perform visual inspections of finished products.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Identify quality problems and recommend solutions.
• Notify supervisors or other personnel of production problems.
• Assemble prefabricated parts to form subassemblies.
• Align, fit, assemble, connect, or install system components, using jigs, fixtures, measuring instruments, hand tools, or power tools.
• Attach brackets, hinges, or clips to secure or support components or subassemblies, using bolts, screws and rivets.
• Fit, install, and secure material on frames, using hand tools, power tools, glue, cement, or staples.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Required :

• Prompt and reliable attendance skills

• Ability to stand, kneel, crawl and work for several hours in various positions either on a concrete floor or within a boat
• Ability to manually move product and materials through regular physical exertion, including but not limited to lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and bending
• Must work at a reasonable pace and within our quality and production standards to ensure timely completion of tasks while still maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Production standards may include potential overtime as required to meet customer needs

• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate

• Knowledge and previous use of basic hand and power tools

• Manufacturing, production, machinist, or assembly experience
• Demonstrated stability and dependability in previous employment
