We are seeking an assembler for our road case assembly department in Cortlandt Manor New York Facility. Ideal applicants are skilled with basic hand tools, torque wrenches and impact guns and possess prior experience with woodworking or cabinetry fabrication and have utilized related tools such as routers, table saws and electronic or pneumatic drills. However, we are also willing to provide apprenticeship training for novice candidates with a demonstratively reliable work-history with affinity for manual work assembly or construction work.

An employee in this role is expected to be able to independently construct various Road Case configurations from print specifications starting as raw materials like birch sheet stock, laminate sheet stock, aluminum extrusion, and hardware accessories utilizing a written or electronic work order, specification documentation, and written assembly procedures.

They are expected to proficient with the tools and equipment listed below.

• Rivet Press
• Drills
• Impact Guns
• Handheld Routers
• Coldsaws
• Virticle Panel Saws
• CNC Router Tables
• Table Saws
• Sanding and Deburring Equipment

Routine assembly tasks involve cutting, installing, mounting, fastening, aligning, sanding painting, gluing, and cutting or shaping various raw materials according to documentation provided. At some stations, assemblers may be required to operate automated equipment such a CNC table router.

They may work alone or with other Assemblers as a team, or within other departments on a temporary basis to complete production requirements in line with the company purpose. The main objectives are efficiency, economic use of job materials, quality of workmanship, maintaining a tidy workspace and working cohesively as part of a team to accomplish goals.

The are required to conduct routine cleaning and maintenance of their personal workstations and assist in administering some of the preventative maintenance to the department equipment workstations.

This is a Full-time Position, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM.

Overtime is available weeknights, and Saturdays.
