pc/nametag is expanding and looking for a Lead Assembly Coordinator to join our Production & Assembly Team. As the Lead Assembly Coordinator, you will be responsible for putting the finishing touches on customized product orders, assembly of customer sample items and make-to-stock inventoried products while leading a small team. This position requires high attention to detail and accuracy along with strong interpersonal and communication skills. A sense of urgency is crucial and motivation to hit tight daily deadlines is essential.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the coordination of the order workflow to ensure orders are accurately assembled and meet the order deadline
• Assemble and organize customized finished goods by hand, each order is Made-to-Order per customer specifications
• Oversee workflow for temporary and seasonal employees
• Various duties include inserting, collating, punching out, folding, and attaching product
• Assemble customer sample packs and inventoried products
• Utilize company database as needed to make inventory adjustments for products being utilized
• Ability to work cross-functionally with distribution, purchasing and product development
• Ability to follow established procedures with the ability to change direction and meet daily order deadlines
• Motivation to maintain quality control at a level that meets or exceeds set standards
• Ability to motivate, lead, and build a cohesive team

Requirements include:

• 2+ years of work-related experience in leading a team
• Manual dexterity
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work quickly and accurately
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to influence others to build a highly efficient and cohesive team
• Comfortable working on computers and different software systems; basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel – experience not required, but must be comfortable learning
• Capable of occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds, frequently lifting up to 10 pounds
• Ability to work Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM, available for overtime when necessary
