JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for assembly functions necessary to create Voyager’s proprietary products. Those products include Yetti fish houses, Bear Track Trailers, Voyager Dock, and Titan Deck.

Essential Functions and Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with team on the production line, assisting in the completion of Yetti fish houses, Bear Track Trailers, Voyager Dock, and/or Titan Deck
• Utilize a variety of tools, including pneumatic tools, table and chop saws, shear, in the assembly of Voyager’s proprietary products.
• Review work orders and blueprints to ensure work is performed according to specifications.
• Operate forklift and stand uplift as necessary.
• Assist with training new employees in the department as needed.
• Maintain productions equipment and machinery.
• Shovel, sweep, or otherwise clean work areas
• Follow proper safety protocols.
• Follow all quality guidelines.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education, Experience, and Credentials

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to read and interpret documents furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, quality manuals, blueprints, and procedure manuals.
• Must be able to read a tape measure, identify and measure material.
• Ability to perform simple shop math, convert decimals to fractional equivalents.

Physical Requirements Needed to Perform the Job

Must be able to:

• Perform medium work, lift up to 75 pounds with frequent lifting/carrying of objects weighing up to 25-50 pounds.
• Must be able to reach overhead, bend, and crouch for 3-5 minutes at a time.
• Hear and speak in order to communicate with people inside and outside the organization.
• Effectively verbally and orally communicate in the English language, including following oral and written instructions.
• Stand and walk around the organization repeatedly throughout the day.
• Apply manual dexterity, visual acuity, and the ability for assembling objects.

Tools and Equipment Used

Must be able to use a variety of shop tools, including:

• Basic hand tools
• Pneumatic tools and saws
• Computers, printers, and other office equipment

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment is primarily indoors. Frequent noise distractions. There may be occasional exposure to a variety of weather conditions in traveling outside of the workplace.

CORE WORK HOURS:

Monday-Thursday, 6am-2:30pm

Friday, 5:30am-1pm
