Center Aide (Forty FortPA) Job Description
Beyond Behavior Group program is seeking a part time center aide at our facility in the Forty Fort PA area. The role of the center aide is to support the supervising BCBA in completing tasks and duties in order to help the program run smoothly and efficiently. Location: 1003 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort, PA 18708
Job Responsibilities:
- Assists in aspects of classroom management and instruction.
- Assists in conducting scheduled activities.
- Assists students in all aspects of self-care.
- Assists in responding to and following safety procedures of the building.
- Assists by answering phones and filing paperwork.
- Assists in the development of program materials.
- Escorts and monitors students as requested.
- Attends scheduled team and staff meetings as requested.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior work experience with children with special needs.
- Have or obtain necessary background checks- Criminal Record, Child Abuse, FBI fingerprint
- Demonstrate ability in written and oral communication in the English language.
- Must be able to lift/ transfer a minimum of 50 lbs.
Compensation:
$13.00 to $15.00 Per hour
