Assistant Building Maintenance Manager Job at Troon Country Club
General Purpose:
Assists in the over site of and provides for overall repair and maintenance of the entire facility, clubhouse grounds, and services such as trash, pool cleaning, janitorial and windows.
Essential Duties:
- Performs repairs, maintenance and ensures cleanliness of the entire facility.
- Assists Building Maintenance in managing and coordinating vendors and contracted services that pertain to the maintenance of the facility and grounds around the clubhouse.
- Ensures the facility maintenance is performed and kept to established Troon CC standards.
- Oversees operation of mechanical and power equipment utilized in the maintenance of the facility.
- Coordinates exterior property cleaning and maintenance in accordance with Troon CC standards.
- Assists in the coordination of department members and outside vendors that may include, but is not limited to Housepersons, Carpenters, Electricians, Plumber, etc.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve member satisfaction.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Education/Experience:
- Prefer one to two years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Pool maintenance certification or willing to participate in the certification process.
Certificates/Licenses:
- Driver’s License required. Pool maintenance certification or willing to participate in the certification process.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences
- Ability to read and speak English required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
