Carte Blanche Caterers is hiring for the position of a highly-motivated, experienced full-time Assistant Catering Manager. This position is responsible for helping with pre-planning, a well as management and execution of our off-premise catering events. Tasks include coordinating with clients onsite, managing event staff, and ensuring that all events run smoothly. Please note: as an off-premise catering company, this position is very physically demanding.

Tasks also include organizing equipment for events, driving our company’s vans, solo delivery, set-up and clean up for smaller events, and leading the team as banquet captain at staffed events.

Responsibilities:

*Pre-planning equipment needs and onsite management of all catering events, including weddings, corporate events, and private parties. *Coordinate with clients to make sure their expectations are met. *Help train and manage catering staff. *Pack out and drive the company van and make deliveries. *Be a banquet captain at events. *Track inventory and manage delivery schedules. *Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary work environment. *Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

*Related experience in catering, hospitality, culinary arts, or a related field. *2+ years of experience in catering management. *Familiar with word processing and spreadsheets *Physically fit and able to lift. *Strong organizational and leadership skills. *Excellent customer service skills. *Ability to work independently and as part of a team. *Valid driver's license and clean driving record. *Food handler's permit. *OLCC Card.
