We are looking for an Assistant Clinic Manager to join our top notch team of professionals!

This individual must be willing to travel to all three locations: The Woodlands, Spring and Montgomery.

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Clinic Manager, the assistant clinic manager is responsible for helping with the operation of the orthopedic clinic. The assistant clinic manager will help oversee clinic staff, train personnel, give them direction to meet the departmental goals and to assure appropriate personnel coverage to support the patients as well as the physicians. He or she ensures an efficient patient flow in the clinical area; working closely with billing and the front office staff and is responsible for responding and resolving clinic issues in a timely and efficient manner. The assistant manager ensures that clinic personnel are following policies, procedures, and protocols for the operational efficiency of the clinic.

Assistant Clinic Manager Duties:

  • Assists in the development and implementation of operating budgets for the clinic and promotes cost containment and efficient use of clinic resources.
  • Participates, shares, and make suggestions to the Clinic Manager for continuing education activities for themselves and clinic personnel.
  • Helps maintain the clinic and its equipment to ensure cleanliness, sterility and operations ability at alltimes.
  • Recommends items for the need of the clinic, working with medical vendors and suppliers.
  • Applies clinical principles and practices and coordinates patient-care activities with physicians and physician assistants to provide continuity of and quality patient-care.
  • Participates in care for patients as needed; identifying and solving problems with care provided and overseeing clinical areas to verify patient needs are being met.
  • Develops/recommends/revises patient-care policies and procedures as necessary.
  • Serves as liaison between patients, families, and medical staff to coordinate quality patient care.
  • Provides assistance in supervision and on-going training (cross-training) for clinic staff, including meetings, clinic evaluations, feedback, support, and coaching to promote a positive work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1.00 per year
