Responsibilities:
We are looking for an Assistant Controller/GL Accountant to join our dynamic team! This is a Full-Time position, that will start out in-office and gradually transition to Hybrid as proficiency is acquired.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Supervise two Payroll Accountants
  • Set-up new projects and enter modifications for existing projects in accounting system
  • Process Accounts Payables
  • Prepare & Upload invoices on WAWF as required and resolve rejected
  • Apply Customer Payments and manage deposits
  • Follow-up with customers and vendors as needed
  • Periodical Internal account reconciliations and Bank Reconciliation
  • Preparation for Monthly closing
  • Assist and work with outside consultant in reconciliations and monthly closing
  • Prepare and send Monthly Borrowing Base
  • Work with Outside CPA firm on Statutory Audit and company tax return
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:

1. A 4 year Degree, preferably in a Business / Accounting related field
2. Exposure to Government Contracting
3. Familiarity with Unanet
4. Five years of experience in a similar position
5. Exposure to working successfully in a team environment
