JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the coordination of ITS client services.
MAJOR DUTIES
Coordinate information technology operations and maintenance
Directly oversees the management of the student run NSU Service Desk
Work with end-users and desktop support technicians to identify and delivery required PC services, training, and support to end users
Coordinate activities with third-party support and equipment vendors
Receive and delegate incoming work tickets, calls and email
Recruit, train, schedule, assign, direct, supervise, evaluate and discipline personnel
Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
Confer with the Director of IT Client Services on recommendation, scheduling, technology improvements, upgrades, and repairs impacting the whole of NSU
Lead the automation, installation, and testing of customized configurations of adopted hardware and software based on various platforms and operating systems
Support the development and supervises the implementation of new computer projects and new hardware and software installations
Performs related duties as assigned

COMPLEXITY/SCOPE OF WORK
The work consists of varied duties in the coordination of campus IT client services. The need to respond to unforeseen problems contributes to the complexity of the position.
The purpose of this position is to coordinate the disbursement of information technology as offered to the university. This active vital position supports the efforts of ITS leadership in the promotion of technology initiatives that are in line with the mission, vision and values of NSU. Success in this position contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of a variety of campus functions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of two years of college coursework or an Associate’s degree in a course of study related to the occupational field.
Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, having had a similar position for two to four years.
Experience sufficient to thoroughly understand the work of subordinate positions, to be able to answer questions and resolve problems, usually associated with one to three years of experience or service.
Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver’s license issued by the State of Oklahoma for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.
Annual salary $41,032.00 with excellent benefits, including generous leave time
