The Assistant Director is a business-oriented individual possessing a good working knowledge of medical office policies and procedures responsible for the daily functions of the clinics. The Assistant Director of Physician Practices will provide professional business management to the Employed Physicians Practices by managing specific administrative functions and staff. The Assistant Director is responsible for practice operations and serves as communication link from the clinic Office Managers and employees regarding Practice Management information or any clinic operational, information technology, revenue cycle and personnel information.
BASIC KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Education/License/Certification:
- Bachelor degree required in health related field
- Master level degree in business or health care administration preferred
Experience/Skills:
- Experience in product development, marketing and sales.
- Two years of experience in staff supervision and medical office practice management.
- Experience in budget development/administration and reporting preferred.
- Experience in physician practice start-up preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of physician billing and insurance contracting
- Ability to read, comprehend and communicate on a professional, college graduate level.
