DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A SUCCESSFUL TUFF SHED ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER - OPERATIONS?
- We're seeking a driven and experienced Assistant General Manager Operations who can help lead our Operations team
- Proven leadership skills will be required to ensure we meet and beat the Store's financial and operations targets
- A real people manager, with hands-on experience recruiting, training and managing staff
- A focus on customer service excellence and an understanding of the importance of "leading by example"
- Experience in working in an industrial environment is required. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for scheduling sub-contractors, managing inventory and our fleet, and overall safety in the Store
- This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Assistant General Manager with hands-on knowledge of the people management and the industry
- Experience building and managing a team and meeting challenging operational targets; also preferred, experience with sub-contractors
- Proven safety management experience, including: OSHA; fire prevention; machine and tool usage; PPE; Hazard communication; lifting techniques; fork lift; electrical safety; fall protection; and safety training documentation management
- Inventory and fleet management experience
- Background in and understanding of financials, including GL and/or P&L statements
- Strong PC skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook; CRM experience highly preferred
- Successful background networking and growing long-term business partnerships; ability to deal with multiple issues, growing trust and solving problems
- Must possess a current valid driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report
