ASSISTANT HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER Job at The Driskill
Summary
Since its opening in 1886 the Driskill has been an integral part of the fabric in the city of Austin. It joined the Hyatt family of hotels in 2013 becoming a benchmark for the Unbound Collection by Hyatt.
The Assistant Human Resource Manager is an entry-level manager supporting payroll, onboarding, employee relations and training. This position will report to the Director of Human Resources.
The ideal candidate for the assistant human resource manager position will be organized and detail oriented. Some prior human resources experience is preferred. The position responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Balancing and submitting payroll on a weekly basis
- Entry of deductions and earnings into the payroll system
- Working with hotel managers to ensure accurate and timely payroll submission
- Coordinating colleague communication and recognition
- On-boarding new colleagues and data entry
- Communication and tracking completion of training requirements
- Leading portions of training such as orientation and service training
- Supporting colleagues with knowledge of the benefits program and enrollment procedures

Qualifications

- Bi-lingual in Spanish or Pashto preferred
- Prior human resource experience preferred
