Assistant Internal Auditor – Level 1 Job at Lake Shore Savings Bank
Assistant Internal Auditor Level 1 is responsible for the timely execution of risk-based internal audits and related projects, as assigned, to determine adequacy of internal control, mitigation of risks, effectiveness and efficiency of operating processes, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Candidate must identify and evaluate key risks and controls, document work performed, communicate findings, draft initial reports, and perform post-audit follow-up.
Required Skills
- Minimum 4 year degree in accounting, finance or related business fields.
- Knowledge of accounting/auditing principles and practices required.
- Applicable experience in banking operations preferred.
- Must have excellent communication, analytical and research skills and interact professionally with employees and Directors.
- Demonstrates a dedication to skill enhancement and training.
- Maintains the highest levels of independence, objectivity and integrity.
- This position within Internal Audit is designed to allow individuals to grow professionally and learn about the Bank and industry.
