Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Manage outside process Purchase orders along with Work Orders.

· Helps source, purchase, plan, and schedule the movement of raw materials, packaging materials, parts, components, services, supplies, finished goods and related material through production and inventory process.

· Communicating with all department managers, sales and purchasing on inventory levels, locations, and/or shortages.

· Assist in tracking paperwork flow to ensure accuracy with inventory, traceability, and receiving paperwork.

· Cross-trained to understand all responsibilities of the extended receiving team.

· Identify problems in handling and storage of product. Trains and reviews processes with staff to promote accurate inventory control processes.

· Assists in execution of other projects and makes recommendations for process improvement to appropriate leaders

· Assist in classifying, labeling and warehousing all inventory for future use.

· Assists in managing Purchase Orders- including updating delivery dates, cost corrections, etc.

· Maintain thorough and accurate records and document vendor discussions or actions.

· Job Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree or higher preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license.

· Some experience within a manufacturing environment with similar duties or responsibilities.

· ERP software experience preferred; Microsoft D365 a plus.

· Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and meet commitments.

· Excellent communication skills and positive attitude with a strong desire to learn.

· Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

· Must be team-oriented and willing to operate in a fast-paced, goal/deadline-driven atmosphere.

· Must be able to effectively communicate with other employees and management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
