Assistant Principal Job at STO ROX SCHOOL DISTRICT
JOB GOAL: Under the direction of the School Principal and Superintendent, Assistant Principals for Sto-Rox assist principals in serving as instructional and operational leaders of District schools. Assistant Principals provide a clear vision for learning for all students; ensure a safe, secure and orderly learning environment; and cultivate strong relationships with and act in service to diverse stakeholders, including families and communities. Assistant Principals are expected to promote high-quality instructional practices, passionately enjoy working with children, and believe that all students can achieve. Assistant Principals are responsible for assisting in selecting and assigning staff, supporting differentiated professional growth, and assisting in building the leadership capacity of staff. Assistant Principals in the District must assist in collecting, analyzing, and using multiple sources of data to guide continuous improvement in student achievement, manage school operations, and effectively evaluate and develop staff.
REQUIREMENTS: Pennsylvania Administrative Certification as a principal. Master’s Degree. Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience. Demonstrates aptitude for successful completion of the tasks and all responsibilities assigned. All clearances as required by law.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
