Position Description
The School of Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Texas at Dallas is hiring a full-time, non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Instruction for the fall of 2023. This position involves teaching four interdisciplinary studies course per semester. These courses may include gender and healthcare studies, advanced writing, internships, and upper-division courses in the candidate’s area of expertise. A PhD in an interdisciplinary field and teaching experience is required.
We are seeking a dynamic, engaging instructor who is committed to interdisciplinary approaches, creative pedagogy, and building our programs. Field of research specialization is open. Salary is negotiable and includes a full benefits package. Starting date is August 1, 2023.

Qualifications
Candidates must have a PhD or equivalent and demonstrate their commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service. The appointment commences August 1, 2023. A doctoral degree is required prior to joining.
