Title: Assistant Project Manager
Department: Haven for Elder Justice Program
Status: Part Time
Shift: Days
The Saint Elizabeth Haven for Elder Justice provides a safe shelter for elder abuse victims. The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for providing administrative support to the project.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Project Manager for the Elderly include:
- Implement a work plan of training events and coalition meetings
- Manage the logistics of each event/meeting by securing adequate meeting space
- Arrange each event including audio, handouts, tools, refreshments
- Maintain a data base of participants
- Manage invitations and responses
- Prepare meeting materials
- Organize program data
- Perform research when needed
- Make recommendations for improvement of trainings and meetings
- Maintain records and provide reports
- Act in the absence of the Project Coordinator when necessary
- All other related duties as assigned
The Assistant Project Manager for the Elderly should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field desired and/or related experience
- 2 years working in an administrative position.
- Experience working with older adults or elder abuse a plus
- Possess a valid driver's license and a registered, insured vehicle
