Optimus Construction Management, LLC, a CM specializing in Senior Community Builds, has an immediate opening for an experienced Assistant Project Superintendent/Carpenter for a new Senior Community in Wiscasset, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for assisting in the oversight of day-to-day construction activities
- Maintain excellent relationships with client, architects/engineers, and contractors
- Report on project issues and providing status updates
- Perform carpentry tasks
- Perform other duties as may be required
Qualifications
- Must have basic framing skills
- Must have carpentry experience
- Ability to complete carpentry tasks throughout the project
- Experience with projects of similar scope and magnitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective leadership for managing construction management activities
- Knowledge and experience of OSHA safety regulations
- The ability to work well with others and willingness to learn in a team environment
