The position oversees five IRA locations located in the Kingston/Saugerties area. Main office is in Red Hook.
YOU MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE WORKING IN THE IDD FIELD UNDER OPWDD. YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED WITHOUT THIS EXPERIENCE. YOU MUST HAVE SUPERVISED MULTIPLE IRA LOCATIONS TO BE CONSIDERED.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee financial operations of programs. This includes reviewing and approving payroll along with a review of finance reports, monitoring of spending and budgets.
- Oversee Medicaid billing documentation to include utilization of THERAP. Monitor all assigned IRA locations to ensure data documentation is being completed daily.
- Meet individually with IRA Managers on a weekly basis to provide coaching and evaluation of training needs for them and /or their staff.
- Conduct house inspections to ensure the house remains safe and will monitor all activities within each assigned program to ensure appropriate type and level of programming is occurring.
- Work closely with Corporate Compliance and Quality Assurance to ensure sure regulations for the program are being met.
- Review and verify billing documentation of each program every week.
- Ensures that the Managers work to provide staff efficiently. Manager must submit schedules two weeks in advance for your review.
- In case of staff emergencies, you will be notified either by the House Manager and/or AOC to find coverage for any shift to ensure that minimum staffing is always provided.
- Will provide manager coverage when IRA is without a manager.
- On call for oversight locations and will need to fill in when necessary for partner ARD and DOR.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Or 5 years’ experience in Management in OPWDD regulated program.
- Experience in supervising multiple IRA programs under OPWDD regulations
- Experience with IDD
Requirements:
- Clean NYS driver’s license
- Submit and pass all NYS and OPWDD background clearances.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to multi-task.
