Responsibilities:

• Treats customers and co-workers with courtesy and respect
• Assists Store Manager with operational duties
• Leads the store in the absence of the Store Manager, including opening and closing, customer service, store maintenance, and delegating to the team
• Motivate and manage co-workers to work effectively as a team
• Provides development coaching and performance feedback to co-workers
• Takes initiative to help any area of the bakery, if possible
• Creatively manages and maintains bountiful bakery cases and displays
• Takes an interest in learning about and promoting all of the great bakery we sell
• Develops a deep understanding of the processes and ingredients used in baking our specialties
• Does whatever it takes to make every guest's experience a great one

Skills

• Experience in the training and development of staff members (preferred)
• Has a reputation for giving great service to guests and co-workers
• Can handle multiple tasks at one time, delegating and monitoring their progress
• Has good problem solving skills
• Has strong interpersonal skills and communicates professionally at all times
• Can maintain high energy during the entire shift

Brief Description: Full time, Hourly. Weekends and flexible schedule required. Overtime hours are possible. Reports to the Bakery Retail Manager.
