The position:

As the Assistant Superintendent, you will provide on-site coordination for all phases of multifamily construction projects, including coordinating subcontractors, materials, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.

**Must be willing to travel for out-of-town projects. Monthly per diem provided along with two trips home per month.**

• Build a strong rapport with subcontractors and all project team members while maintaining a high focus on communication, coordination, and safety.
• Assist Superintendent with the following on the job site: -Bid procurement, budget, schedule, and buy out start to finish -Maintain weekly status reports for projects. -Create and maintain site logistics plan.
• Quality control and assurance on the job – daily walk through of site and units.
• Inspect completed and in progress structures and sites for safety, compliance, and job completion.
• Coordinate inspections with third party and city/municipal inspectors.
• Create daily punch lists for sub-trade completion.
• Maintain clean and safe job site.

What we are seeking:

A team focused Assistant Superintendent with strong experience working on successful, ground-up multifamily construction projects.

• Must be a team player who enjoys building and sustaining relationships with others.
• Must be determined, ambitious, and self-motivated.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Natural leader who can effectively manage on-site project team members.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Significant experience with multifamily construction, specifically wood framed projects.
• Complete knowledge of plan reading, shop drawing review, and specification review.
• Strong experience scheduling material deliveries, sub-contractor coordination and city/third-party inspections.
• Experience maintaining as built plan sets.

• Bending/Twisting Moderate
• Squatting/Kneeling 1-3 hours/day intermittent
• Vision Minimal near vision and depth perception
• Environmental: working both indoors and outdoors, exposed to extreme weather, extreme noise, and heavy equipment machinery.
