Assistant to the Business Manager Job at Two Rivers Supervisory Union
Two Rivers Supervisory Union Central Office is seeking a full time Assistant to the Business Manager whose primary focuses will be payroll, accounts receivable, food service and grant support. The ideal candidate for this year round position should have 3 years of relevant work experience. Thorough comprehension of the general ledger and account reconciliation is essential. Background working in a school environment is helpful but not required.
The candidate should be able to work independently as well as with a team and be detail oriented. Experience required for payroll software, Microsoft Excel and online reporting for taxes and benefits. Duties & Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Process payroll checks and direct deposits.Prepare, post, and review payroll-related general ledger entries and bank deposits. Prepare and verify information for food service claims reimbursementsWork with Human Resources to process employee changes.Provide coverage and backup for other fiscal service positions.Report Federal and State tax deposits.Prepare tax reports including 941, W-2, W-2c, W-3, VT Tax Forms, WH-431, WH-434, DETTimely and accurately reconciles liability accounts.
Responds to inquiries from employees. Other duties as needed.Benefits Include: Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Dental Insurance, and PTO including sick days, vacation days and personal days.
