Job Description:
Our client, a major financial company, has an on-going need for an assistant marketing video editor to join their fast-paced, very productive in-house studio team.
This team is extremely organized and is looking for the same quality in an editor. They also need and= experienced technical professional with extensive documentary experience who can multi-task and who thrives in a high-energy, exciting environment.
Pay Range: $33/hr - 37.50/hr
PRINCIPAL DUITES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Editing footage of business leaders, CEOs and community members into compelling marketing content
- Managing a demanding workflow of social media video cut-downs
- Offering creative and technical input throughout the video editing process
- Demonstrating troubleshooting skills for software or hardware issues that may arise
- Staying on top of changes and improvements in editing techniques
- Partnering with a team of producers, directors, and animators
- Pitching in, if needed, with additional production tasks, as assigned

Requirements:
Candidates must submit a digital demo for review.
Candidates must have proven experience in the Adobe suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop, and be able to turn ideas into detailed plans for execution with rigorous attention to detail, timelines and flawless production.
- 3-5 years of video editing experience
- Familiarity working within a media asset management system (MAM) or shared storage environment
- Superior time management and professional communication skills to balance multiple projects simultaneously
- The ability to apply an understanding of best practices for short-form content on social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
- Demonstrated experience translating complex concepts into easy-to-understand videos
- An understanding of codecs, compression and exporting video for Web and Broadcast
- Familiarity with Closed Captioning workflows and formats Web and Broadcast
- Solid technical skills—deep familiarity with HD and 4K cameras a plus
- Ability to work in conjunction with a Creative Producer to create engaging content using their concepts and artwork
- Clear communicator with exceptional written and collaboration skills
Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Communications or Media Production or equivalent and 3-5 years of proven cohesive experience in editing and producing motion graphics for corporate or commercial clients.
Producing, shooting, and lighting experience is a plus.
