Purpose of the Position
To provide a variety of resident centered services for residents living in River Ridge Apartments neighborhood and 56 households. These positions will be cross trained to provide dining, housekeeping and other assigned functions. They are a member of the River Ridge Quality Team and are assigned an extended family of residents in River Ridge.
Responsibilities
· Assist Dining staff in pre-breakfast, pre-lunch or pre-dinner set up.
· Ensure the cleanliness and attractive appearance of the dining venue
· Follows and assures practice of safe food handling and service
· Assists in the preparation and of setting of tables prior to breakfast and dinner
· Greets and assists residents in being seated at meal times
· Participates in distribution and completion of menus and the serving of food by courses.
· Returns to each table after the meal is served to offer any additional assistance or requests
· Removes dishes and cleans tables after service is complete
· Develops effective relationships with residents and learns resident preferences and individualizes services for each resident.
· Works effectively as part of the River Ridge Team accepting responsibility of work related tasks, shares the work equally.
· Provides superior customer services and corrects any service related concerns
· Completes assigned housekeeping assignments which include but are not limited to vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of toilets, sinks, kitchen area, emptying garbage, individualizing service to meet resident preferences and requests
· Participates in River Ridge Team Meetings and offers ideas and input to provide effective and progressive resident centered services and quality improvement.
· Welcomes new residents and participates in orientation upon resident assuming occupancy offers support to new residents as they adjust to their new home.
· Monitors environment in public areas to insure they are attractive and well kept.

Pay: From $13.20 per hour
