Cedar Sinai Park is looking for a full-time Assisted Living Registered Nurse!

This is a full-time, benefited position located at our beautiful Rose Schnitzer Manor.

Our 103-year-old organization resides in the Raleigh Hills area of southwest Portland. On our campus, you will find Rose Schnitzer Manor, an assisted living community. This position will report to the Health Services Director. This is a great role for a skilled individual with an interest in senior care.

Summary- The primary purpose of this position is to provide nursing services to residents at Rose Schnitzer Manor in collaboration the members of the Health Services Department team and provide recommendations for safety and well-being with in an assisted living environment.

• Performs oversight of medication administration systems; reviews and tracks physician orders as indicated. Consults with residents’ primary care physicians as needed.
• Actively participates in initial and ongoing resident assessments. Provides ongoing focused assessments of residents’ chronic illnesses when there is a change of condition and reports appropriately. Provides timely focused assessments and reports immediately when there is a significant change of condition so that a full assessment can be completed.
• Assists with employee health services such as new hire screening tests, immunizations, and infection control tracking.
• Supports Rose Schnitzer Manor directors and supervisors regarding health/safety concerns of resident related to activity, diet, behavioral interventions.

We have high standards. Qualifications include:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing for nursing.
• 1 – 3 years’ similar experience required. 1 year of current nursing experience working with geriatric residents, home health and/or hospice care is preferred.
• Will accept new graduate if applicant has a strong desire to learn and is able to collaborate effectively with the Health Services Department team.
• Holds a current unencumbered licensure in the State of Oregon as a Registered Nurse.
