Be part of a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex Avionic systems within their Aerospace group. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of their customers. You will have ownership for systems at every aspect of the systems lifecycle, from the front end of business development through product end of life. You will work across disciplines within the Electronic Solutions Engineering Sensing & Guidance and Navigation business to drive growth and reach critical business milestones.

Key Responsibilities

Full systems development lifecycle of aircraft navigational solutions via embedded real-time safety critical software. These solutions are defined from requirements, implemented in code, verified in simulation & hardware testing, and certified with government and safety organizations as part of our client’s Aerospace Products.

Must Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics
• 0-3 years of quantified experience in aerospace engineering
• Must be U.S. Citizen (single citizenship)

Desired Skills

• Aerospace or similar safety critical industry exposure
• Embedded GPS/INS exposure
• Basic knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Basic knowledge of scripting (MATLAB or Python)
• Background in DO-178 and DO-254 certification standards
• Effective communicator
• Can quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts
• Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness
• Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
• Ability to multi-task and be flexible in a challenging and fast-paced environment
