Attendance Coordinator Job at Ford Motor Company
What you’ll be able to do:
- Ensure that the National Attendance Program (NAP), Family Medical Leave (FMLA), Medical Leave of Absence (MLOA) and tardiness are administered in accordance with the National Agreement, Company Policy, applicable regulations, Company practice and Local Contractual Agreement
- Conduct corrective action discussions, as required for chargeable absences, failure to follow notification process and tardiness
- Properly document corrective action hearing outcomes
- Follow-up with line management customers to successfully close out open NAP and tardiness issues
- Audit NAP and tardiness coding
- Subject Matter Expert for line management customers on NAP interpretation
- Maintain all required documentation related to FMLA administration
- Liaison between line management customers and the local medical department
- Single Point Of Contact for employees requesting FMLA
- SPOC for UNICARE
- Identify opportunities to streamline the current process
- Hourly transactions and tracking manpower planning using Timekeeping Work Order System (WF1) and Oracle HCM
- Ensure proper application of Collective Bargaining Agreement, particularly in job postings, promotions and payroll matters
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for questions regarding policy administration as it applies to hourly personnel
- Support and administer employment benefits while assisting customer interactions between the state unemployment office and the company
- Assist hourly employees, management and union with various labor questions and issues
- Contribute in the hourly hiring process (scheduling, onboarding, etc.)
- Build and maintain positive Union / Management relations
- Support HR Labor Relations team as needed
- Must be willing to work all shifts
The minimum requirements we seek:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6 months+ previous Ford Human Resources experience
- Previous Manufacturing experience (1+ years)
- Strong oral and written skills
- Attendance & FMLA monitoring experience
