C. DeWitt Foard & Company is a local CPA firm offering tax and audit services to Charlotte and the surrounding communities for over 50 years. We specialize in assurance services for area not-for-profit organizations and churches.
We are looking to expand and hire an Audit Manager. Five years of experience is required for the position. This position will report directly to the firm partners.
Examples of responsibilities include: managing multiple engagements, multiple audit teams, provide training to audit staff, ability to identify deficiencies internal controls and communicate recommendations to the clients, and financial statement and note disclosure preparation.
Competitive salary and benefit package (health insurance fully covered, employer contributions to an HSA, retirement match 5% after 1 year of service, 4 weeks of PTO, etc.). Overnight travel as little as two weeks during the year.
Requirements:
- Current CPA license.
- 5+ years of recent audit experience with a public accounting firm. Experience with not-for-profits is a plus.
- Experience with CaseWare Working Papers (preferred).
- Single audit experience (preferred).
