R&I/Body Technician Of All Levels
Job Description:
- - Read repair orders in CCCOne and Mitchell Connect
- - Disassemble vehicles in accordance to repair orders and related damaged parts
- - Reassemble vehicles once repaired and painted
- - Identify damage in order to create a blueprint of repairs
- - Work alongside the shop appraiser during the blueprinting process by communicating what parts are broken, what repairs need to be completed, etc.
- - Build Parts Cart in accordance with shop SOP to create symmetry for all technicians
- - Work and communicate well with our parts department in order to assure correct replacement parts get ordered for each and every vehicle
- - Work and communicate well with our paint department on each and every vehicle to confirm paint and blending procedures for each repair before blueprinting process is fully completed
- - Operate all equipment in the Body Shop in a safe and productive manner
- - Maintain an organized and clean work area
- - Complete SOP Checklists & Hardware ordering form
- Preferred Experience, Education and Knowledge

- - High School Diploma or equivalent
- - 2+ years experience as a R&I Technician and/or Body Technician
- - I-Car Certifications a HUGE plus
- - Good eye for detail and ability to spot collision damage
- - Must have own tools of the trade, especially time saving power tools
- - Ability to stand for a long period of time as well as kneeling, bending, reaching, climbing, upper body motion and frequently lifting up to 75 lbs.
- - Body Work, Metal Work, Welding, Priming and Painting abilities are all a PLUS but not necessary. This is a position can also be for those who find satisfaction in taking things apart and putting them back together.
- - Knowledge of automobiles
- - Experience working in CCCOne and/or Mitchell
- - Experience reading repair orders especially in CCCOne and/or Mitchell
- - Ability to lead and work effectively as a team member as well as work alone
- - Be a team player with a positive attitude and desire succeed in the collision industry
- - Ability to keep up in a fast paced work environment
- - Participate in developing a proper repair plan for each vehicle along side the shop appraiser, body & structural repair department and paint department
- - Ability to work extended hours if necessary
- - Excellent organization skills
- - Ability to multitask
- - Must be dependable
- - Valid driver's license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour
