Greenwood Chevrolet in Austintown, Ohio is busy and looking for Automotive Lube Technicians!

Automotive Lube Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform oil changes, replace air filters, replace wiper blades, replace light bulbs, reset maintenance lights, rotate and balance tires, conduct fluid exchanges, inflate tires, and review vehicle maintenance recommendations
• Produce vehicle inspection information for teammates and customers
• Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly by performing every task with safety as the number one priority
• Communicate with teammates and customers
• Maintain the image, appearance, and cleanliness of our facility
• Participate in new technical training programs and have a desire to grow with our team
• Use computers, tablets, and other electronics
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks

Automotive Lube Technician Requirements:

• Previous automotive experience is preferred, but not required
• Desire to learn
• Enjoy working as a team and have the ability to multitask
• Ability to work around vehicles, tools, and delicate equipment
• Physically able to move around the shop (climbing stairs, ladders, etc), carry heavy objects (up to 50lbs), position your body in ways needed to repair vehicles (reach, bend, etc) and work on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Good knowledge of automobiles

Automotive Lube Technician Qualifications:

• Effective analytical and communication skills
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
• Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical degree preferred
• ASE certifications preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
