Badin Lake Auto was established in 2016 as Badin Lake's locally owned and operated auto and marine repair shop. Since its opening, the shop has focused on serving the Badin Lake community's auto and marine sales and service needs. In 2021, Badin Lake Auto opened its newly constructed facility in New London. The team is currently looking to hire a Service Technician to join the team. The Service Technician will be responsible for general maintenance and repair to vehicles.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct routine maintenance as dispatched by management
- Vehicle diagnostics and repair based on job priority and customer needs
- Tire mounting and repair, service, and alignment
- Coordinate parts ordering and inventory maintenance
- Light mechanic work - batteries, water pumps, alternators, starters, radiators, AC compressors, front end components, etc.
- Keeping shop and assigned bay area clean and organized
- Observe all OSHA and safety protocol
- Other duties as assigned by management
General Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 year in automotive industry required, 5 years preferred.
- High school diploma preferred, but not required.
- Applicant must have your own hand tools. Other tools are provided.

- A desire to learn and grow in the automotive and/or marine industry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- mechanic: 2 years (Preferred)
- auto shop: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
