AV Classroom Field Technician - School District of Philadelphia Job at Visual Sound Inc
The AV Classroom Technician will travel to multiple locations within Philadelphia servicing technology in the most efficient and effective manner to assure minimum down time and maximum performance. All service must meet the highest quality standards, while assuring a professional and safe working environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for handling calls Monday-Friday from 8AM to 4PM
- Responds to customer's technical-related issues promptly
- Troubleshoot electronic components
- Instruct the customer on the proper use of the equipment
- Responsible for reporting and sending Technical Service Report following each appointment and forwarded to your Supervisor ( Mac laptop will be provided)
- Assists with preventive maintenance of customer equipment
- Responsible for shipping malfunctioning parts back to manufacturer
- Travel to various job sites as required
- Other duties assigned as needed
