TITLE: Azure Cloud Admin – 22-11836
LOCATION: Chicago, IL
STATUS: Hybrid (2 days in office and must have the COVID-19 vaccination)
OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION: Our client, one of Chicago's Best and Brightest Companies to work for, is currently seeking an Azure Cloud Admin. The right candidate will have a strong SCCM/MECM background.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
- Test, troubleshoot, and deploy third-party software, patches, or software packages within MECM
- Install, configure, manage, and support Azure VDI
- Optimizing Azure buildouts for cost and performance
- Providing technical support using remote access Virtual Private Networks
- Assist with PC hardware and software installation
- Support Microsoft OS software
- Maintain a database inventory
SKILLS:
- 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure Administration and OS Deployment technologies
- Administering Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and Cloud Services Integration certification
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, A+ hardware certification, Microsoft MECM/SCCM certification)
- SCCM/MECM background
- Azure VDI environment experience
- 3+ years of experience installing, customizing, and maintaining PC hardware
- Systems administration of Windows server and virtual networks experience
- Familiarity with security standards and trends
- Active Directory and Group Policy knowledge
